Forest to Table – Deer Stalking Weekend

Date: 18–20 September 2026

Event Type: Guided Deer Stalking & Cooking Experience

Location: Brandenburg, Germany

In Collaboration With: @wildesophie

Information: A three-day guided deer stalking experience at estates in Brandenburg — with a cooking class, your own harvest prepared that evening, and a set of recipes to take home. Bring a friend who has always been curious about hunting. Non-hunters are warmly welcome.

About

Brandenburg countryside — forests, still mornings, and deer in the mist. Three days in a setting that reminds you why this matters.

This is a guided introduction to deer stalking for women who want to experience hunting properly for the first time and for the friends they want to bring along. You do not need to hunt to join. Non-hunting companions are welcome throughout the weekend and are included in all shared meals, the cooking class, and the social programme.

The focus is not the trophy. It is the experience — being in the field, understanding the animal and the landscape, and coming home with your own harvested meat and the knowledge of how to prepare it.

In the kitchen with @wildesophie, that harvest becomes a meal. Recipes are yours to take home.

The group stays together in a shared castle property for the weekend — the kind of setting that turns a hunting trip into something you remember for a very different reason.

Format

Day 1 — Friday Arrivals at the castle. Welcome dinner. Introduction to the estate, the weekend programme and safety briefing.

Day 2 — Saturday

Afternoon — cooking class with @wildesophie using the morning's harvest

Evening — dinner together at Schloss Selchow
