1. Scope & Provider

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Veldt & Focus, operated by Marlene Bindig, Naumann Straße 12, 01809 Heidenau, Germany (hereinafter "Veldt & Focus", "we", "us"). By completing a booking, the client (hereinafter "you") agrees to these terms in full.

Veldt & Focus curates and operates field sport experiences including shooting days, stalking events, and accompanied field experiences. We do not operate as a travel organiser or package travel provider within the meaning of §§ 651a ff. BGB or the EU Package Travel Directive. Travel, accommodation, and transfers to and from event locations are entirely the responsibility of the client and are not included in our pricing unless explicitly stated in writing for a specific event.

2. Booking & Contract Formation

A booking request is made by the client via email, contact form, or direct message. A binding contract is formed only upon our written booking confirmation and receipt of the required payment. We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our sole discretion.

All bookings are personal and non-transferable except as provided in Section 5 below. Each participant must meet any applicable legal requirements for participation, including valid hunting licences where required by the event.

3. Pricing & Currency

Prices are stated per person in the currency applicable to the event country: EUR for events in Germany, France, and Italy; GBP for events in Scotland. Prices are inclusive of all stated services and exclusive of travel, accommodation, transfers, personal equipment, trophy fees, and any items not explicitly listed in the event description.

International bank transfer fees and currency conversion costs are the sole responsibility of the client. Veldt & Focus accepts no liability for exchange rate fluctuations between booking and payment.

4. Payment Terms

Day events (single-day experiences): full payment is due at the time of booking to secure your place.

Multi-day events (events spanning more than one day or requiring advance estate reservation): a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total event price is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date. Failure to pay the balance by this date entitles Veldt & Focus to cancel the booking without refund of the deposit.

Payment details will be provided in the booking confirmation. Places are not guaranteed until payment has been received and confirmed.

5. Transfer of Place

You may transfer your booked place to another person who meets all participation requirements, provided you notify us in writing no later than 14 days before the event. No transfer fee will be charged by Veldt & Focus. Both the original and substitute participant accept joint liability for any outstanding payment obligations. We reserve the right to decline a transfer if the proposed substitute does not meet participation requirements.

6. Nature of the Experience & No Guarantee of Outcome

Field sport experiences are conducted in natural, outdoor environments. Veldt & Focus guarantees the organisation and delivery of the experience as described. We do not and cannot guarantee any particular hunting or shooting outcome, including the presence, availability, or taking of any specific species or quarry.

Weather, terrain, wildlife behaviour, and other factors beyond our control may affect the course of any event. No refund or compensation will be offered on grounds of natural conditions, animal behaviour, or the absence of quarry.

All participants take part at their own risk. We strongly recommend that all clients hold comprehensive travel, cancellation, and personal accident insurance before attending any event.

7. Participant Responsibilities

By booking, you confirm that you:

Hold all legally required licences, permits, and documentation for participation in the booked event

Are in good physical health suitable for outdoor field activities

Will comply with all safety instructions issued by Veldt & Focus, estate staff, and guides at all times

Will handle all firearms and equipment safely and in accordance with applicable law

Accept full personal responsibility for your conduct in the field

Veldt & Focus reserves the right to exclude any participant from an event at any time on safety or conduct grounds, without refund.

8. Liability

Veldt & Focus acts as the organiser of the field sport experience only. We are not liable for loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from: independent travel or accommodation arrangements; acts or omissions of third-party estates, guides, or service providers; force majeure events including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or public health emergencies; or the client's own actions or omissions.

Our liability for any claim arising from an event is limited to the amount paid by the client to Veldt & Focus for that event. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Photography & Privacy

Veldt & Focus may take photographs and video during events for use in marketing, social media, and editorial content. By attending an event, you consent to this use unless you notify us in writing before the event date. Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Heidenau, Germany.

11. Changes to These Terms

Veldt & Focus reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking confirmation applies to that booking.
